# Junior Padel HostThis role forms part of the NetSet Padel team within the Village n Life group, based at Camps Bay Retreat. The Role As Padel Host, you'll assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the padel facility. From guest interaction and court oversight to pro shop support and general upkeep, your role ensures the club runs smoothly while maintaining a high standard of presentation and service. Key Responsibilities - Understand and manage the daily court booking schedule - Welcome guests, guide them through club rules and direct them to their courts - Assist guests proactively based on their needs - Ensure bookings run on time and are not exceeded - Support with ball collection in and around courts - Step in to play where needed to maintain game flow and engagement - Introduce new players to padel rules and basic gameplay - Promote and onboard guests onto the club's WhatsApp community - Assist with guest queries in person and via the club phone - Support light refreshment service such as coffee orders - Assist with capturing content for marketing use - Ensure all bookings are settled and paid in full - Support sales of pro shop merchandise - Assist guests with product knowledge and recommendations - Manage rental rackets and ball transactions via the booking system - Conduct quality checks on rackets before and after use - Follow retail processes and policies accurately - Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing pro shop - Clean court glass during non-booking times - Sweep and maintain turf for even sand distribution - Check and maintain correct net tension - Keep the club clean, tidy and guest-ready at all times - Empty and reline bins regularly - Ensure furniture is clean, safe and correctly positioned - Remain available on phone and email during working hours What We're Looking For - Strong communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused approach - Good attention to detail and ability to stay organised - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, active environment - A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative - Team player who enjoys engaging with people - Basic understanding or interest in padel or sport is advantageous What We Offer - A vibrant, active working environment - Opportunity to grow within a dynamic hospitality group - Exposure to both guest services and sports facility operations - A supportive team culture with hands-on experience Job Categories: Wellness Job Types: Full-time Experience Levels: Entry level Job Locations: Camps Bay
