What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and manage annual salary budgets, short-term and long-term incentive plans (STIP & LTIP).
  • Oversee pension fund surplus utilization and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Design and maintain reward strategies, retention programs, and technical ladders to support capability development.
  • Manage Executive Remuneration and prepare & present proposals to the Remuneration Committee (REMCO).
  • Ensure effective governance of Employee Share Ownership Plans and benefit funds.
  • Lead policy development for retirement, medical, insured benefits, and reward programs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Discovery Health, Momentum Life, Alexander Forbes, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct market analysis and job evaluations to ensure pay is internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Ensure compliance and reporting, including internal and external audit requirements, and prepare necessary statistical and regulatory reports.
Qualifications
  • NQF Level 7 Degree (Bachelor's Degree)
  • 10 years of experience managing the Compensation function at a Senior Management level
  • 5 years of HR Reward experience
  • Strong knowledge of Labour Acts (LRA, BCEA, EEA) and Employee Share Schemes
