Concierge Assistant - Office Based
Job Description
You will be the customer-facing representative of our members' concierge service, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while building and maintaining strong relationships with members and partner golf clubs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, quick-thinking, and highly organised, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be self-motivated, professional, and possess a positive "can-do" attitude, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently at all levels while remaining calm under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, logical problem solving abilities, and previous experience within the golf or customer service industry will be highly advantageous, along with a good understanding or passion for golf.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Monitor and react to all concierge requests in a timely fashion
- Manage tee time bookings utilising our corporate memberships
- Invoice members for their tee time bookings when necessary
- Monitor the invoices you raise to ensure all payments are made within the required time frame
- Deal with any tee time enquiries that are made via phone or email, ensuring they are always added to the main APP system.
- Report any anomalies discovered on the MASHIE App your supervisor/manager
- Work with other team members to enhance the overall customer experience
- Maintain a document of current processes and contribute to the improvement of these procedures.
- Maintain a resolution and escalation process for issues for this area of the business.
- Strong understanding of golf, including the rules, playing formats, and etiquette of the game.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience within the golf industry, customer service, or concierge environment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Basic working knowledge of Xero would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to take ownership and work effectively within strict deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and solutions-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a small team environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Confident in both written and telephonic communication.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport required.
