A well-established communications company is seeking a Tier 2 Systems Support Technician for a permanent role based in the Boland Area, Western Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Grade 12
  • CompTIA A+, N+ (or similar IT qualification)
  • MTCNA and/or MTCRE (advantageous)
  • 2-5 years' Service Desk & Network Support experience essential
  • Experience with VoIP
  • Basic OSPF & routing knowledge
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • 2nd level fault/ticket management
  • Network & alert monitoring (Dude/UNMS/DataTill)
  • Manage escalations & meet SLA requirements
  • Advance troubleshooting (Voice/IP Services)
  • Incident & fault management
  • Internal IT support & management services (Meraki/Unifi)
  • Escalation point for Tier 1 Technicians
Salary: Market related dependent on experience
