Role Overview: An exciting opportunity for a responsible, discreet, and highly organised Management Couple to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of a luxury private property in Hoedspruit. This role requires individuals who are proactive, service-oriented, and able to manage a private household environment with consistency, independence, and excellent judgment. The ideal couple will be complementary in skills and capable of taking full ownership of operational and guest-related functions.
Key Responsibilities- Property & Household Management
- Oversee daily management of both private properties
- Ensure consistent upkeep, presentation, and readiness of the homes
- Coordinate arrivals and departures, including full property preparation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and comfort at all times
- Housekeeping & Laundry
- Full housekeeping duties across both properties
- Management of laundry, linen, and household supplies
- Ensure all rooms and living areas are maintained to a high standard
- Regular deep cleaning schedules and attention to detail
- Guest Preparation & Meal Support
- Prepare simple, high-quality meals as required
- Ensure food and beverage requirements are planned and available
- Assist with guest hosting and in-house service needs
- Maintain a welcoming and well-prepared environment for guests
- Stock, Shopping & Administration
- Grocery shopping and stock control for household supplies
- Manage inventory of food, beverages, and household items
- Maintain organisation of supplies and reordering systems
- Ensure cost-effective and efficient household management
- Logistics & Vehicle Management
- Oversee vehicle readiness, servicing, fuel, and cleanliness
- Manage transport logistics for guests and household needs
- Ensure vehicles are always operational and properly maintained
- Coordinate external service providers and maintenance contractors
- Service Coordination & Support
- Liaise with external suppliers and service providers when required
- Ensure smooth coordination of maintenance and operational services
- Anticipate household and guest needs proactively
- Maintain a discreet, professional, and unobtrusive presence
- Morning presence required for preparation (breakfast and setup)
- Flexible return during the day based on guest or operational needs
- Periods of absence required to ensure guest privacy is maintained
- Autonomous management of daily operational flow
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience in private homes or luxury hospitality environments advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
- Excellent attention to detail and service mindset
- Ability to manage logistics, shopping, and household operations effectively
- Strong, stable working relationship with complementary skillsets
