What We're Looking ForPastdue Credit is looking for an experienced Trainer to support its collections operations in South Africa.
This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about developing people, delivering engaging learning experiences, and helping teams build the skills and confidence needed to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Please note: A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering training within a collections environment is essential for this role.
What To ExpectAs part of the growing Pastdue Credit team, you'll play a key role in shaping how teams deliver customer experiences through effective learning and development programmes.
Working closely with operations and leadership teams, you'll help identify training needs, support continuous improvement, and deliver high-quality training that drives both performance and customer outcomes.
You'll join an environment focused on growth, development, and continuous learning, with the tools and support needed to deliver engaging and impactful training experiences.
Our typical shift pattern involves: 40 hours within the week, Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm (UK time).
Your role can include, but isn't limited to:
- Designing, developing, and delivering customer service training programs for new hires and existing teams.
- Conducting need assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities.
- Delivering and maintaining training materials, including manuals, presentations and online content.
- Delivering training sessions, workshops and coaching programs.
- Evaluating training effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborating with team leaders to align training with business objectives.
- Ensuring that training content remains relevant and impactful.
- Assisting in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive proper training and are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Fostering a positive learning environment, encouraging trainees to actively participate, ask questions, and share their knowledge and experiences.
You have experience delivering training within a collections environment and a genuine passion for coaching and developing others.
You're confident presenting to different audiences, adaptable to varying learning styles, and able to create engaging learning experiences that support both individual and operational performance.
Pastdue Credit would love to hear from you if you have the following skills:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering training within a collections environment, particularly in a BPO call centre.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to adapt training to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
- Service minded, professional, with excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities, with a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
