Paralegal
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support legal operations and assist attorneys with case management, legal research, and document preparation. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring legal processes run efficiently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with legal teams, clients, and external parties to support ongoing cases, maintain records, and ensure deadlines are met. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and document drafting
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Maintain case files, legal records, and documentation in an organized manner
- Conduct legal and factual research to support ongoing matters
- File legal documents with courts or regulatory agencies as required
- Monitor deadlines, court dates, and compliance requirements
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties regarding case-related matters
- Assist with discovery processes, document collection, and evidence organization
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments for attorneys
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive legal information
- Proven experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support role
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and legal management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal education preferred
- Experience supporting litigation, corporate, or employment law matters is a plus
- Familiarity with legal billing systems and case management platforms
- Experience working in remote or fast-paced legal environments
