Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for the 2022 Nedbank CIB Graduate Trainee ProgrammeTo be eligible for the Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking programme, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be African
- Applicants must be skillful and ready to learn
- Applicants must have completed at least first degree (Bachelor or HND) from a reputable institution
- Applicants must have a degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Engineering (all fields), Information Technology, Data and Analytics, Cyber security, Finance and Economics, MCom (risk management of financial markets), MPhil (mathematical finance), Agricultural Science, Environmental Science
The Corporate and Investment Banking division sees graduates as part of its leadership pipeline, and therefore the programme offers:
- A four month foundational Corporate and Investment Banking programme delivered by an international service provider
- A 12 month programme covering elements such as personal leadership, the latest developments in fintech, business acumen, and systems thinking, and providing opportunities to be involved with a Nedbank CIB endorsed corporate social investment project as well as action learning projects
- Permanent employment if the graduate is accepted into the programme, offering a unique Nedbank experience
- Standard employee benefits and the opportunity to engage with top management teams about the vision for CIB
