First National Bank (FNB) invites recent graduates from South Africa to apply for the FNB Graduate Trainee Programme 2026/2027. The programme is fully funded and available to African students.

Applicants must be in the final year of an undergraduate degree in one of the following programmes:

• Commerce (Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Economics, etc.)
• Actuarial science
• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Engineering
• Marketing
• Human resources
• Industrial Psychology
• Information systems
• Computer science

Other degrees are also considered on a case by case basis.

• Provide exceptional service through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Implement role responsibilities with careful and timely planning, reporting and updating of all relevant information.
• Participate in business innovation and contribute to goal achievement.
• Share knowledge and participate in projects to maximise required skills and career development.
• Manage the Graduate Development Project by completing training assignments.
• Enhance skills and abilities through training attendance.
• Track progress to improve performance.
• Demonstrate and uphold business values.
