Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment are looking for an organised and detail-driven Banqueting Coordinator to join a busy hotel environment in Sandton.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced events environment and enjoys coordinating functions from planning through to execution. You will ensure all events run smoothly while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all banqueting and event bookings from start to finish
  • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and expectations
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Prepare function sheets and communicate event details to all departments
  • Ensure venues are set up according to client specifications
  • Oversee events and ensure service standards are maintained
  • Handle last-minute changes and problem-solve effectively
Requirements
  • Previous experience in banqueting or events coordination
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong guest service focus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
