Job Description
Reporting to the Procurement Manager
The above position is available at our Westville Office. The position will be reporting to the Procurement Manager. The purpose of this position is to ensure a professionally and efficiently run switchboard and reception at all times as well as to control access to the premises.
Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)- Greet and welcome guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Keep track of office supplies and place orders when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Preferably matric qualification
- 1 - 2 years' experience in the security industry
- Good language proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Diplomacy and tact when interacting with both internal and external people
- Good telephone etiquette is required
- Basic computer literacy
- Good interaction skills
