Location: Newlands, South Africa.
Job DescriptionAn NPO dedicated to providing opportunities to students requires an Office Administrator / Receptionist on a 3 month fixed duration contract to start as soon as possible. This is a full time role Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:30 based in office. Candidates who can start immediately will be given preference. Salary: R per month.
Key Responsibilities- General Office Administration: Provide administrative support to various scholarship programme teams.
- Reception: Welcome and assist guests, scholars, and their families; direct them to appropriate contacts.
- Switchboard: Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Scholar Support: Assist scholars with device related queries (cell phones, tablets).
- Document Management: Scan and distribute documents to relevant departments.
- Office Supplies: Maintain and replenish office supplies, including stationery.
- Data Entry: Accurately capture scholar data into the Salesforce database (training provided).
- Communication: Communicate effectively with scholars and their families.
- Event Coordination: Gather and capture contact information for upcoming events.
- Vendor Management: Update and inform service providers of organisational needs.
- Matric with experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
- Friendly and welcoming personality, as the role will involve regular interaction with students and parents.
- Free parking if required.
