We have an incredible opportunity for a R&D Administrator at I&J in Woodstock, Cape Town. In this role, you will provide structured administrative systems and documentation support to the Research & Development function. In this you will need to ensure accurate processing of purchase orders, reservations, goods received documentation, specifications, and records.

Reporting Structure
  • Reports to: Senior Research and Development Manager
Key Areas of Impact
  • Manage end to end purchase order processing and goods receiving (GRV) ensuring accuracy, timely execution and zero discrepancies.
  • Handle reservation requests, ensuring all allocations are processed accurately and completed without errors.
  • Support GRV processes and technical implementation activities, contributing to efficient operations and reduced rejections.
  • Oversee specification issuing and control, ensuring all specifications are current, accurate and properly approved and recorded.
  • Maintain documentation and records management systems, ensuring all files are complete, traceable and audit ready.
  • Provide ordering and stock support, ensuring required items are procured on time to meet project and trial needs.
  • Administer systems and data including SAP and shared drives, ensuring accurate data capture, integrity and ongoing maintenance.
  • R&D new vendor onboarding and registration.
  • Couriering of samples and packaging item.
What It Takes to Succeed

Experience that set you up for success:

  • Minimum 1-2 years Administrative experience
  • Solid SAP experience
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success
  • Completed Grade 12 / Matric
  • The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Certificate in Administration, Supply Chain or Finance
Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success
  • MS Office experience
  • Attention to detail
