Role Overview

Our client, a highly-respected operator in the markets they serve, is seeking an exceptionally strong manager who is used to leading from the front. As Operations Director, you will be required to drive and develop all print production operations, enhance the customer experience, drive efficiency and enable new product opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the business and customers to understand overall market requirements and help translate strategic and product priorities into robust production solutions.

Responsibilities

Many of the challenges that you will face will be operationally focused. You will be used to taking responsibility for driving efficiencies and best practice and ensuring uniformity in all areas. You will work closely with the Managing Director, and will lead the production team daily with a pragmatic determination to complete and finish projects to plan and KPI.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will have at least 10 years working in the printing or packaging industry with the last 3 years at Senior Manager level. The ideal candidate will therefore be a strong, admirable leader with exceptional people management skills, showing a capability of delegating and task prioritisation. Moreover, you will have the strategic vision to be able to contribute to shaping the future of the company as it continues to grow and develop.
