IQVIA is a leading provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry. The role supports the EMEA Health Economics team as a consultant medical writer within the HTA Evidence & Strategy Centre of Excellence and the Value Communications Centre of Excellence.
The core responsibilities include medical writing for HEOR projects such as new EU Joint Clinical Assessment dossiers, HTA dossiers (e.g., NICE, SMC, NCPE), global value dossiers, protocols, literature review reports, evidence synthesis reports, health economic modeling studies, peer review manuscripts and conference abstracts. The position works cross functionally and cross country, providing writing, quality control, and project delivery support, as well as mentoring junior writers.
Responsibilities- Write high quality HEOR study reports and protocols, HTA/GVD dossiers, manuscripts, and conference abstracts.
- Co manage small workstreams, project tasks, and thought leadership initiatives with the senior team.
- Conduct quality control reviews of HEOR documents and maintain audit trails of changes.
- Mentor and train less experienced Medical Writers.
- Contribute to medical writing training initiatives to upskill the team and set quality standards.
- Support the team's Centre of Excellence initiatives.
- Degree in life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Significant experience in medical writing, including primary writer on peer reviewed publications and HEOR study reports/protocols.
- Familiarity with health economics and health technology assessment is a benefit.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and scientific writing expertise.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Word, with high attention to detail.
- Self motivated, eager to learn quickly, and able to work autonomously while coordinating with guidance.
- Strong time management and organisational skills; flexible to work in a fast paced environment.
- Interest in data visualisation and presentation.
- Keen to work as a member of a diverse, multi cultural team.
Fluency in conversational and business English is essential. Demonstrated ability through slide deck development, report writing, and presentations is required.
