We are seeking a full-time, on-site Medical Receptionist for a private medical practice in Pretoria. This role is designed for a high-output administrative professional who thrives on precision and clinical order. Acting as the operational backbone, you will balance front-of-house patient relations with rigorous financial administration and inventory control to ensure the highest standards of healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the medical suite, ensuring a professional, welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
- Take full ownership of the practice's financial workflow, including processing invoices, managing patient payments, and maintaining meticulous records.
- Implement and maintain a robust inventory management system to ensure clinical and office supplies are proactively monitored and replenished.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the practice and managing complex diaries.
- Utilise Microsoft Excel and Sage to generate accurate financial reports, track practice metrics, and ensure all administrative data is audit-ready.
- Proven experience in a medical administrative or practice management capacity.
- Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
- Demonstrated competence in Sage and Microsoft Excel.
- Must have own reliable transport with a valid drivers license.
- A self-identified "perfectionist" with a natural inclination toward organisation, accuracy, and high-quality output.
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Pretoria, Gauteng.
- Working hours: 07:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
