DescriptionOur client in the Higher Education and Training Sector is currently looking to employ an experienced Lecturer: Education Foundation Phase to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements- Honours Degree (essential)
- Master's Degree or studying towards a Master's (advantageous)
- 2-3 years lecturing experience
- Experience teaching Education modules at tertiary level
- Experience in Foundation Phase teaching (all subjects)
- Exposure to research activities, conferences, or academic publications advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management ability
- Proven ability to teach effectively using reflective practices
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Passion for student engagement and customer service
- Experience using technology to enhance learning advantageous
- Lecture across relevant programmes and delivery modes.
- Conduct assessments, marking, and provide constructive student feedback.
- Moderate assessment scripts where required.
- Support lecturer development initiatives including peer reviews and workshops.
- Assist with planning and running student and lecturer initiatives.
- Lead and manage academic development and support for students.
- Monitor student performance and implement intervention strategies where needed.
- Promote a culture of academic research and scholarship.
- Contribute towards achieving institutional research output targets.
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
