Junior Administrative Assistant - Cape Town office based position
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to support Senior Management with day-to-day administrative operations, basic HR coordination, recruitment administration, and CV screening activities. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to gain exposure to executive support, HR administration, and recruitment processes within a fast-paced professional environment.

Key Responsibilities Executive & Administrative Support- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the COO
- Organise and maintain digital documents, files, and records
- Coordinate office logistics and general administrative tasks
- Assist with employee onboarding documentation and filing
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Support leave tracking and basic HR reporting
- Assist with policy distribution and internal HR communication
- Coordinate training sessions, interviews, and HR meetings
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job advertisements, posting vacancies, and maintaining accurate job descriptions
- Source and screen candidates through LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms
- Manage candidate communication and provide a professional recruitment experience throughout the hiring process
- Coordinate interview scheduling, calendars, and logistics across multiple time zones
- Liaise closely with hiring managers and stakeholders regarding role requirements and candidate suitability
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Support recruitment reporting, workflow improvements, and general talent acquisition administration
- 1-3 years' experience in administrative support, including coordination, recruitment experience optional
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
