Overview

To deliver an efficient and effective Human Capital administration and payroll processing service to employees across the AECI Group (South Africa, Africa, Mauritius and Internationally), in accordance with Human Capital policies, procedures and applicable legislation.

Role and Responsibilities

Processing and Administration: demonstrate ability to efficiently and accurately process information related to employee data and payroll, ensuring validity and quality. Self checking to ensure zero errors.

Applicable Legislation: understand and apply the body of rules, laws, statutes and governmental directives governing employment practices, workplace safety, employee rights and compliance requirements on a global scale, and ensure adherence to local employment laws, data privacy and labour rights.

Service Delivery: drive service delivery across HCGS Operations, ensuring queries are resolved accurately and time synchronously.

Continuous Improvement: contribute to the update of processes including SOPs and WIs; review and update templates, communicate and enforce with the business.

HR Information Systems Administration: administrate HRIS software applications that manage and store human resources data, including employee information, payroll, benefits, training and performance reviews.

Interpersonal Skills: communicate and interact with others, with active listening, empathy, written and verbal communication, conflict resolution and teamwork.

Ethical Conduct: demonstrate integrity, honesty and accountability; prioritize fairness, transparency and respect for all stakeholders.

Payroll Knowledge and Application: check payroll input to ensure accuracy and compliance; experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or PaySpace advantageous.

Microsoft Office Proficiency: effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Privacy of Information: maintain strict standards regarding personal and confidential information, ensuring no breaches.

Human Resources Policies, Processes and Taxonomy: understand the structured framework of rules, procedures and terminology governing HR functions.

Regulatory Compliance: adherence to laws, regulations and guidelines relevant to employment practices and HR operations.

HR Administration Processes: day to day tasks and processes ensuring smooth functioning of the workforce.

Adhering to Principles and Values: uphold ethics and values, promote equal opportunities, build diverse teams, encourage responsibility toward community and environment.

Problem Solving: adept problem solving skills to identify and resolve data issues.

Ability to Work with Complexity: support across functions such as EE support, recruitment, learning, benefits, working across disciplines.

Education

Minimum Matric, Diploma or Higher Certificate in HRM.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in Human Resources administration within a corporate environment. Understanding and experience with payroll and benefit administration. Experience with HRIS including SAP Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors, PaySpace.
