Our client is seeking an HR Administrator to join the Port Elizabeth team,
Responsibilities- Prepare employment contracts in line with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction processes.
- Maintain recruitment records and reports.
- Maintain accurate employee records (electronic and manual).
- Ensure compliance with: Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Assist with Employment Equity reporting and submissions.
- Maintain leave records and attendance registers.
- Administer disciplinary documentation and process support.
- Capture payroll input (leave, overtime, deductions).
- Liaise with payroll providers.
- Issue employment confirmation letters and UIF documentation.
- Maintain HR databases and HRIS systems.
- Generate monthly HR reports (headcount, absenteeism, turnover).
- Track probation reviews and contract renewals.
- HR qualification will be an advantage.
- 2-4 years' experience in an HR administrator role.
- Experience working within South African labour law framework.
- Exposure to payroll systems (e.g., Sage, VIP, or similar).
- Experience with a clocking system preferred.
