Job Description
This is a pivotal executive leadership role for a commercially astute operations leader who understands fast-scaling digital businesses, regulated environments, and the operational realities of high-volume betting platforms. You will act as a strategic operational partner to the executive team, ensuring the organisation operates with efficiency, stability, scalability, and world-class service delivery as it expands across multiple markets.
The OpportunityAs Head of Operations, you will take full ownership of the operational function, leading service delivery, operational controls, incident management, payments operations, and performance optimisation across sportsbook, casino, customer operations, and platform support functions. You will play a central role in shaping operational strategy, strengthening operational governance frameworks, and building scalable processes that support sustained growth and regulatory compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall operations strategy, planning, and execution aligned to company growth objectives and expansion initiatives
Oversee operational performance across sportsbook, casino, payments operations, customer support, and service delivery teams
Establish operational KPIs, reporting dashboards, SLAs, and performance monitoring frameworks across all operational functions
Drive operational efficiency, process optimisation, and automation initiatives across the end-to-end player lifecycle
Ensure strong operational governance, internal controls, and audit readiness within a regulated environment
Manage relationships with platform providers, payments partners, and outsourced operational vendors, ensuring performance against agreed SLAs
Partner with product, technology, compliance, finance, and commercial teams to ensure seamless operational execution and controlled delivery of new features and releases
Lead incident management, escalation procedures, and operational risk mitigation frameworks to maintain platform stability and service continuity
Oversee operational readiness planning for new market launches including staffing models, training frameworks, SOP development, and operational playbooks
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing operations leadership structure aligned to organisational growth
RequirementsProven experience in a senior operations leadership role (Head of Operations, Operations Director, or equivalent) within iGaming, Sports Betting, FinTech, or high-volume digital platforms
Strong understanding of sportsbook and casino operational environments including payments, player lifecycle operations, and vendor ecosystems
Experience operating within regulated or multi-jurisdictional environments
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building and managing large operational teams and multi-layered structures
Strong performance management, process optimisation, and operational risk management capability
Experience managing complex vendor ecosystems and holding partners accountable to contractual service levels
Excellent stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making
