Job Description
The Foundation for Human Rights is inviting young South Africans who want to support real Social Justice Work to apply for the 2026 Internship programme.
The internship runs for one year on a full-time basis and offers successful candidates the chance to work within the organisation's Programmes team in South Africa.

RequirementsCandidates must have a postgraduate degree in one of the following trades:
- Social Sciences
- Law
- International Relations or a related field
Candidates must also show a strong understanding of:
- Human rights-based approaches to development
What will interns do?
- Supporting the implementation of programme activities
- Working within one or more programme teams
- Providing administrative support to help ensure effective programme delivery
- Although the listed duties are concise, the role offers exposure to how programmes are planned, coordinated, and supported in a mission-driven organisation.
