We refresh, restore and rejuvenate our consumers all day, every day with our key brands including Simba, Lay's, Liqui Fruit and Bokomo range of cereals. PepsiCo SA employs more than 13, 000 people across our three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice & Beverages.

Manages the distribution functions of a large size operation inclusive of orders, warehousing and fleet mangement. Develops and maintains optimum delivery plans. Effectively maximise market share whilst ensuring the availability of products to drive customer satisfaction. Normally reports to Unit Mang. Applied in most Div's.

• Planned distribution incl. products, people, vehicles, routes & customers
• Managed Fleet optimisation, equipment utilisation and promotional assets
• Optimised stock management of final goods
• Analysed sales forecasts, competitor activities and formulated sales strategies
• Negotiated and managed trading terms, price, shelf space & promotions
• Managed internal/ key account/ 3rd party/ agents peformance & working capital
• Executed customer service delivery incl. orders, product returns, queries & cash

• 5-6 years experience as Manager Distribution
• National Diploma in Sales and/or Distribution/Logistics and Marketing
• Leadership and relationship building skills
• People management skillsSystems,procedures and systems -EG:SAP
• Be able analyse sales forecasts, competitor activities and to formulate sales strategies
• To be able negotiate and manage trading terms, price, shelf space & promotions
• Union engagement
