Job Description

Virtual Bloom is looking for a freelance content creator to assist with creating engaging social media content for our clients. The role involves capturing photo and video content, basic editing, and working with our team to bring brand ideas to life.

Requirements
  • Must have own reliable transport and be willing to travel to client locations when needed
  • Must have own content creation equipment (camera or high quality smartphone, mics, drone - optional add on, tripod, lighting if available)
  • Basic video and photo editing skills
  • Ability to capture high quality photos and short form video content for social media
  • Understanding of current social media trends and content styles
  • Ability to follow a shoot plan and content brief
  • Comfortable interacting with clients, staff, and people on camera
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must be organized and able to deliver content within agreed timelines
  • Willingness to collaborate with the Virtual Bloom team on ideas and campaigns
Additional Requirements
  • Experience creating content for brands or businesses is preferred
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to capture both professional and lifestyle style content
  • Good communication skills and professional conduct when representing at client locations
  • Ability to adapt to different industries and brand styles
  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours depending on shoot requirements
Equipment

Content creators should ideally have access to:

  • Camera or high quality smartphone
  • Microphones
  • Tripod or stabilizer
  • Basic lighting equipment (if available)
  • Laptop or device capable of editing and transferring files
Position Details
  • This is a freelance / subcontractor position
  • The successful candidate will operate as an independent contractor working with Virtual Bloom
  • Compensation and package will be discussed during the interview process
  • A subcontractor service agreement will apply
