CHEMISTRY TEACHER

Commencement Date: January 2027

• Teaching Cambridge IGCSE, AS and/or A-Level Chemistry. The role will also include teaching CAPS Physical Science.
• Contributing to the continued development of the Cambridge Science offering.
• Creating a stimulating and well-managed classroom environment.
• Supporting the academic progress and wellbeing of boys in a high-performance setting.
• Participating in the broader life of the school, including extramural activities.

• An appropriate academic qualification (BSc in Chemistry or similar).
• A recognised professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Cambridge Chemistry and/or CAPS/IEB Grade 12 Physical Science.
• A sound understanding of inquiry-based and practical science teaching.
• The ability to prepare and lead practical experiments.
• Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills.
