The CAPACITI - Service Desk Academy - CPT - May 2026 equips aspiring technologists with the in-demand digital capabilities needed in today's evolving tech landscape, providing trained Junior First Line Analyst-Service Desk candidates with the ability to log tickets and requests, acting as a single point of contact for all Applications, Infrastructure and specific 3rd Party related problems.

CAPACITI supports the transition from foundational IT knowledge to specialised, industry-ready skills that match global and local workforce needs. Candidates will be trained to assist technically and assume full responsibility to progress each ticket logged onto Ticket Management Systems and to provide regular end-user updates.

Start Date: May 2026

Duration: 12 Months (Full-Time)

Monthly Stipend: R5241 P.M. (for the duration of the Academy)

Application Criteria
  • South African citizen.
  • Aged 18-34.
  • Minimum NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
  • IT Service Desk fundamentals & basic troubleshooting abilities in the technical/Networking environment (advantageous but not required).
  • Academic transcripts and highest qualification certificate.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and understanding of IT concepts (hardware, software, networking).
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • No criminal record and a clear credit history.
  • Must be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Ability to attend full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 and commit to the full 12-month academy.
