Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Support Specialist to join our enterprise automation team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, value delivery, and strategic alignment of our automation solutions, including bots, workflows, and scripts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive support, including monitoring, maintenance, and issue prevention for automation solutions.
  • Offer reactive support by troubleshooting and resolving problems with automation solutions.
  • Manage automation solutions throughout their lifecycle: setup, deployment, upgrades, ongoing support, and retirement.
  • Ensure the reliability and sustained operation of automation tools and processes.
  • Monitor performance and ensure automation solutions deliver their intended business value e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to align automations with the bank's enterprise automation strategy, standards, and governance.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement and recommend improvements for existing automations.
  • Document processes, fixes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure understanding of the operational requirement of the automation solutions at design stage.
  • Initiate all required applications for the procurement and/or allocation of hardware software functionality including licenses procurement.
  • Remain updated regarding any changes to operational requirements during the development process.
  • Initiate and facilitate the granting of the required system access for the automation solutions during QA and Production phases.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders regarding anticipated enterprise infrastructure hanges and initiate actions to manage these changes.
  • Verify software and application after installation.
  • Liaise with internal team on the progress of virtual employee setup.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience supporting automation technologies (e.g., RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or workflow automation platforms).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience in monitoring and maintaining systems in a production environment.
  • Ability to manage solutions across the entire automation lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactively manage credential validity in Blue Prism.
  • Assist with set-up and maintenance of Blue Prism schedules.
  • Facilitate all virtual employee retirements on Blue Prism (Process sheet and Alphabet).
Education
  • Qualification: National Certificate
  • Experience
  • Total number of years of experience: 1 year.
  • Type of experience: A proven track record of supporting operations within the Blue
  • Prism Control Room, with at least one year's experience operating systems within Blue
