Air & Sea Freight Forwarder - Global Logistics Expert

The main purpose of the role will be reporting into the Estimates Manager and ensuring that all pricing exercises or estimates for general cargo are completed CargoWise at a high level of professionalism.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding, in both Air, Ocean and Road operations.
• Advanced understanding of incoterms - risk and billing purposes.
• Valid drivers license with own reliable vehicle
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Good e-mail etiquette.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• CargoWise.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Logistics/Supply Chain Management.

• Matric (essential)
• Tertiary qualifications will be of advantage.

• Office 365 (Teams, OneNote, Forms), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Understanding of international freight forwarding.
• Experience in a multi cultural, multi national operation.
• Good communicator verbal & written.
• Team player.
• Analytical thinker.
• Effective administration skills and well organised
• Must be methodical and precise in their work.
• Must have an understanding of the freight forwarding process, global requirements and service providers / industry players.
• Punctuality and time management skills are critical.
• Available to work long hours when required.
• Own vehicle; driver's license; ability to work overtime.
