Job Description
Tshwane North College for Technical and Vocational Education and Training invites suitably qualified, innovative, result-oriented, and self driven candidates to apply for a 3 year fixed term contract position.
Requirements- Grade 12 certificate
- National Certificate/Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, or Financial Management, or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in the administration of infrastructure and maintenance projects
- Certificate in Project Management or Facilities Management is an added advantage
- Computer literacy (Microsoft packages)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organising and planning skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Financial management skills
- Experience in customer care services
- Knowledge of risk management principles, project scheduling, project management, and facilities management
- Provide infrastructure and maintenance clerical support services within the component
- Prepare for internal and external meetings
- Minute taking, report writing, updating, and modifying of records
- Keep and maintain the project filing system
- Update project registers and statistics
- Communicate with relevant role players and follow up on progress made
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement of departmental goods and services
- Ensure effective flow of information and documents between the infrastructure office, Central Office staff, and campuses
- Handle routine inquiries from contractors
- Capture and update project related expenditures in the component
Salary: R.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits
