Job Description

Nature of Appointment: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Salary: R per annum (Level 5) plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Centre: Central Office - Ref: TNC/CO/26-01/3

Requirements
  • Graduation: Grade 12 Certificate required.
  • Minimum: National Certificate/Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, or Financial Management.
  • Optional: Certificate in Project Management or Facilities Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in the administration of infrastructure and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
  • Provide infrastructure and maintenance clerical support services within the component.
  • Prepare for internal and external meetings; minute taking, report writing, updating, and modifying records.
  • Maintain the project filing system, update project registers and statistics.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders, follow up on progress.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for procurement of departmental goods and services.
  • Ensure effective flow of information and documents to and from the infrastructure office to Central Office staff and campuses.
  • Handle routine inquiries from contractors.
  • Record and update project-related expenditures in the component.
