Gibela stands as Africa's largest train manufacturing and passenger trains maintenance company, holding steadfast to its commitment to spearheading the revival of the South African railway sector. With a transformative vision, Gibela endeavoured to catalyse the shift towards commuter rail as the preferred mode of transport for urban communities.

We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for a 24 months Graduate Programme under Services. The position will report to Quality Manager and is based at Salt River (Western Cape).

Job Purpose

The programme offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in the transport rail manufacturing industry. Participants will experience a dynamic and challenging work environment, collaborating with various teams across the organization. The role includes servicing and maintaining high quality products, as well as supporting the monitoring of compliance with Gibela's requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the conformity of the product and to support continuous improvement on quality processes.
  • Act swiftly in order to resolve quality issues.
  • Coordinate quality related topics with customers and suppliers' at site level
  • National Diploma in Quality Management
  • B-Tech/Advanced Diploma/BEngTech: Quality Management will be advantageous
  • South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age
  • Excellent communicate skills in English
  • MS Office literate
