Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager (TRIM) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Young Professional-in-Training Internship Programme 2026.

Internship Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Internship Duration: 24 Months

About the Transnet Young Professional-in-Training Programme 2026

Transnet is offering a structured two-year graduate development programme aimed at equipping young graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience.

This programme is designed to improve employability by providing:

  • Structured mentorship
  • Regular performance assessments every 6 months

The programme is open to graduates from Universities and Universities of Technology who hold a qualification of NQF Level 6 or higher and have no prior work experience.

    • Logistics
    • Supply Chain
  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Real Estate
    • Property Studies
  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Risk Management
  • National Diploma or Degree in:
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science
  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Business Management
  • National Diploma or Degree in:
    • Financial Management
    • Or equivalent
  • National Diploma or Degree in:
    • Digital Marketing Management
  • Degree in:
    • Human Resources
    • Industrial Psychology
    • Or equivalent
  • Degree in:
    • Data Science
    • Mathematical Science

Applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
  • Hold a National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher)
  • Have no prior work experience in their field of study
