As a Training Facilitator you will be responsible for the delivery and facilitation of the entire suite of ADF Careers training and development programs. You will support the Training Delivery Lead in the continuous improvement of training delivery, ensuring alignment to the current and future people capability requirements of DFR.

Job Description

As a Training Facilitator, your role is responsible for delivering and facilitating the entire suite of ADF Careers training programs - current and future. Your experience and breadth as a facilitator will shine through various modes of facilitation, including virtual and in person. You will bring with you an engaging and positive approach to facilitation. The Training Facilitator works alongside a team of facilitators, supported by a Training Delivery Lead, and a wider Training and Development Team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the required suite of ADFC training programs in a consistent and engaging manner, catering to various learning preferences, and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Identify and provide feedback on learner performance, experience, attendance, engagement, and other reflections on delivered programs/courses, providing detail to Training Lead.
  • Contribute to post learning activities and development of resources to ensure application of learning and enhancement of retention and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure flexibility in facilitation approach, seeking and maintaining a deep understanding of audience's learning style and constantly adjusting approach to ensure maximised learning outcomes.
  • Review performance data and collaborate with Training Facilitators and the wider Training and Development Team to identify opportunities for change, adjustment, or a new approach, applying an innovative and solutions focussed mindset.
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and prompt record keeping and reporting, meeting contractual requirements of the client, and reporting requirements of the function and team, providing these as required and requested.
  • Maintain curriculum and materials, ensuring delivery is consistent with wider team and content consistent across national ADFC team.

Qualifications
  • Experienced Trainer/Facilitator with a track record of delivering high-quality training services.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Proficient in designing and delivering training programs that align with the needs of the organization and the learners.
  • Collaborative approach, working closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into training content.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to adjust training strategies based on learner needs and feedback.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and the ability to create engaging and interactive training materials.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and other training technologies.
