Introduction

The purpose of this job is to provide training, administrative and clerical assistance to the Engineering Training department.

  • Create and or update courses on the Learning Management
  • Register and schedule selected Engineering Training courses on the Learning Management System.
  • Dispatch course material/s for distance learning courses to delegates.
  • Confirm course dates, number of attending delegates, course leader appointments
  • Update and implement the necessary changes to the delegates nominations list.
  • Communicate updates to scheduled courses to Manager and ATA Management.
  • Receive and submit individual and consolidated course reports.
  • Coordinate with course leaders and Client Relations Office on the time slot for Class A and Class B functions.
  • Liaise with Client Relations Office to confirm the list of invited guest and guest speakers at the graduation and / or end of course functions
  • Schedule annual calibration / validation of critical and non-critical test equipment and advise team
  • Maintain a record of all archived documents and course material processed for the department.
  • Maintain files of departmental documents.
  • File and label documents for permanent storage/ electronic archiving.
  • Maintain, secure, and care for records in accordance with ATNS Filling index / system
  • Compile / type minutes, presentations, letters, memorandums, agendas, e-mails and other departmental correspondence.
  • Consolidate the Engineering Training Monthly report
  • Co-ordinate and manage the diary of Manager Engineering Training & Systems.
  • Co-ordinate travel arrangements (Domestic / International) for Engineering Training department personnel.
  • Processing expense claims for instructors and M: ET & S.
  • Assist Manager Engineering Training & Systems to monitor departmental budget and prudent use of departmental finances
  • Provide departmental support towards implementation of competency-based training.
Formal Qualifications:

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years office management experience in a training environment.
