We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise-scale solutions across Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), MuleSoft, and SAP. The ideal candidate will have deep architecture expertise, strong integration capabilities, and proven experience aligning to enterprise standards within a complex financial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions leveraging Salesforce FSC, MuleSoft, and integration into SAP and other core banking systems.

  • Define, document, and govern solution architectures in alignment with ABSA's Enterprise Architecture principles and technology standards.

  • Ensure data models, especially the FSC object model, are correctly designed, extended, and integrated across platforms.

  • Lead the development of integration architectures, API-led connectivity, and event-driven designs within MuleSoft.

  • Collaborate with security, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure robust security, data strategy, and compliance throughout solution designs.

  • Facilitate architecture workshops, solution reviews, and approval boards with senior stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance to technical delivery teams, ensuring alignment to the architectural blueprint and best practices.

  • Support cloud governance, solution assurance, and performance optimisation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
  • 12+ years' experience in solution architecture within enterprise financial environments.

  • TOGAF certified, with strong understanding of EA frameworks and governance.

  • Proven expertise across Salesforce FSC, MuleSoft, and integration to SAP or other ERP systems.

  • Strong background in enterprise integration patterns, API design, data strategy, and security principles.

  • Experience working within large-scale financial institutions, ideally familiar with ABSA's architecture standards.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reusable architectural designs.

  • Excellent documentation and architecture modelling skills (UML, ArchiMate, or similar).
