Role Summary and Impact

Based in Singapore, the Senior Affiliate Manager is an integral position within the affiliate marketing function for Neo, working across clients and affiliates to drive successful campaigns in Asia Pacific. The candidate will have specific responsibilities to manage the China market and APAC region for our global brands creating a broad regional knowledge. The individual will work closely with the Affiliate Director from both an operational and strategic stand point. We work with some of the world's biggest retailers, so we are looking for the right candidate to join us to deliver exceptional service levels to these current clients from their existing knowledge in the affiliate space in Asia.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the China and APAC Senior Manager on multiple blue-chip clients within Neo's regional Affiliate Marketing team.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders within clients and large affiliate partners.
  • Have an analytical approach whilst working on reporting and performance metrics to draw insight and make strategic recommendations to clients to optimize their affiliate program
  • Identify and recommend new opportunities to grow the business and increase efficiency for clients
  • Responsibility for financial management from an external perspective, monitoring client budget and spend
  • Educate partners unfamiliar with affiliate to enable them to work with our clients
  • Pro-actively approach and recruit new publisher partners
  • Build and deliver strategy alongside the client and Affiliate Director
  • Compiling and presenting results to the client
  • Meet and host affiliate partner events
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior affiliate staff.
  • Analytical and numerate, with strong communication skills. The candidate must be comfortable presenting to large groups of people and senior clients
  • In-depth knowledge of affiliate / partnership marketing and the best practice on how affiliate programs are managed
  • Strong new business and performance delivery track record
  • Commercial awareness and proficiency in managing client scopes and profitability
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

    MEASURES OF SUCCES - 3 MONTHS
    • Begin to develop deep client relationships with the key day-to-day contacts
    • Identifies new opportunities to increase acquisitions
    • Ensures affiliate strategy is market leading & provide market insights
    • Have a clear understanding of the day-to-day implementation and reporting tools utilised by the team
    6 MONTHS
    • Leads quarterly reviews and project plans for your market
    • Assists in development of affiliate strategy and ensures the delivery of all aspects of the affiliate strategy
    • Maintains a healthy relationship with affiliate partners and affiliate implementation team
    • Leads affiliate aspect on brief responses
    • Offer management
    • Negotiating tactical campaigns with affiliates
    • Be involved with annual negotiations in order to maximise client sponsorship investment
    12 MONTHS
    • Lead China and APAC client relationships, ensuring that client servicing is first class
    • Part of the training & development process for junior team members
    • Ensure the clients are kept up to date of China and APAC affiliate media landscape, providing necessary media information and updates, competitor reports, etc.
    What you'll need
    • Educated to university degree level
    • Must be fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) as well as English
    • A minimum of 4 to 5 years digital marketing experience with a preference for 3 of these years to be in an affiliate marketing focused role
    • Experience of working within China and APAC markets
