Thorburn Security Solutions is recruiting Security Officer Grade C professionals to support safety and security operations across multiple sectors including lifestyle estates, corporate environments, retail, logistics, education and industrial sites. The role involves maintaining a secure environment through access control, patrol duties, surveillance monitoring and incident response aligned with operational security standards.

• Safeguard employees, visitors, buildings, vehicles and equipment
• Maintain a safe and secure environment across assigned sites
• Ensure safety of all personnel within operational areas

• Control and monitor access points
• Regulate entry and exit of employees, visitors and contractors
• Manage traffic flow and direct vehicles when required

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, perimeter areas and equipment
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms and surveillance infrastructure

• Respond to alarms, emergencies and security breaches
• Activate alarms or signaling systems when necessary
• Compile detailed incident, occurrence and observation reports

• Enforce security procedures, rules and site regulations
• Maintain compliance with national and provincial safety regulations
• Support emergency procedures including evacuation and fire prevention

• Conduct preventative checks on security equipment
• Ensure equipment is functional at all times
• Report defects or malfunctions immediately

• Maintain professional conduct while on duty
• Interact with staff, clients and visitors in a professional manner
• Provide high levels of customer service
