Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Matric Certificate
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in Sales (experience in Fuel industry will be an advantage)
  • Valid driver's license
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong sales background with solid record
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter

Overall purpose of the job:
  • To maintain and grow current business from a regional perspective, identify and respond to new business opportunities pro-actively as to ensure growth, and set a high standard for excellent customer service and for the brand
  • We are looking for a Sales Representative to represent the brand in the market by looking after an existing client base as well as meeting targets for new business set out by management
  • The ideal candidate is energetic, has great knowledge of the province, is able to easily approach decision makers
  • The candidate should have existing knowledge of the fuel industry as well as an understanding of the PE / EC Commercial market
Key Performance Areas:
  • Facilitate achievement of agreed targets in the region, achieving volume and net profit targets by always driving sales performance
  • Report to Sales Manager, changes in strategic direction, structures, and operating models in order to ensure transparent communication and effective operation within the region
  • Weekly/monthly reporting to area Sales Manager
  • Identify and manage creation of new business opportunities for the region to expand the market
  • Ensure that all operations are in line with the company's policies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
  • Accountability for volume target and net profit target
  • Cold calling, making contact and presenting proposals to prospective clients, also be able to achieve daily/weekly customer call target
  • Need to be able to meet their target of prospect meetings and site acquisitions
  • The person will be traveling throughout EC
  • Asset register completion and reporting are required
  • Meet sales targets as set out by the employer
