Sales Engineer & Technical Integration Specialist

The Sales Engineer works in tandem with Direct Sales Team, Product, and Professional Services to provide and demonstrate customized environments to help address prospect scenarios during the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Become an expert in the nCino KYC product solution and API integration capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and onboarding teams to understand the client's objectives and needs and advise on the strategy for how nCino KYC should be implemented.
  • Assist in closing sales where technical expertise may be required, including completing technical responses to RFPs and RFIs as needed.
  • Prepare technical presentations and specific product demos to explain the nCino KYC product and communicate the value of the solution to clients.
  • Autonomously design and deliver complex configurations that address all of the client's objectives while allowing for future scalability.
  • Manage several complex customer engagements simultaneously, creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Design and develop the appropriate solution that addresses all of the client's objectives while allowing for future scalability.
  • Manage and coordinate internal resources, delegating as needed to ensure all work meets the highest standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and communicate these, along with solutions, to leadership to help shape product evolution.
  • Train internal teams on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
  • Represent nCinoKYC in client facing meetings by presenting to users and key stakeholders.
  • Spend time with clients to understand their processes and advise how nCinoKYC should be configured for their organization.
  • Ensure a clearly mapped out delivery timeline and project plan that enables external stakeholders to quickly gain value from nCinoKYC.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API integration issues.
  • Assist in the configuration and workflow of clients' nCinoKYC instances.
  • Explain technical aspects and backend infrastructure of the solution to external stakeholders and prospective customers.
  • Manage technical aspects and queries regarding integration enhancements and changes.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years API and integrations experience.
  • Hands on nCino administration and/or implementation skills.
  • Hands on experience in Postman, Confluence, Lucid Charts, and JSON formatter/validator.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as creating profiles, roles, users, page layouts, email services, approvals, workflows, reports, dashboards, tasks, and events.
  • Experience designing custom formula fields, field dependencies, validation rules, workflows, and approval processes for automated alerts, field updates, and email generation.
  • Highly professional with strong communication skills, especially in solving complex credit related challenges in the financial services industry.
