Introduction

This role will be based in the Regional Office Qqeberha.

Job Objectives
  • To develop and execute a regional strategy that delivers on the brand's commercial and operational objectives and strengthens the competitive position of the region.
  • To build and lead a high performing regional team that consistently delivers the agreed sales, operating profit, and overall financial performance targets.
  • To drive continuous operational improvement across the region in order to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and support sustainable and compliant store performance.
  • To position Clicks as the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer by consistently demonstrating and embedding the company values across all stores.
  • To cultivate a culture of customer service excellence that elevates the customer and patient experience as well as drives growth in ClubCard participation to agreed targets.
  • To provide strategic insights that influence range, pricing, and promotional strategies in order to improve brand equity, gain market share, strengthen differentiation, and enhance the customer value proposition.
  • To deliver regional store expansion and footprint growth targets that increase customer convenience and support long term commercial performance.
  • To develop and implement a regional people strategy that builds professional capability, supports succession and retention, and advances the brand's talent and transformation agenda.
  • To drive adherence to corporate governance requirements, policies, and procedures in order to strengthen compliance, manage risk, and protect the brand.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Essential: Minimum 8 years' senior operational management experience within a multi sitr environment
  • Extensive retail store operations experience
  • Extensive people management and leadership experience of middle management employees
  • Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.)
