ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Edward Snell & Co. South Africa's largest independent spirits business. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and administrative functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive telephonic calls, messages and channel to relevant role players.
  • Welcome, receive and direct clients to relevant departments.
  • Provide relevant information as required.
  • Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners and photocopiers.
  • Liaise with internal and external personnel.
  • Maintain internal telephone directory.
  • Maintain and control visitor register at reception.
  • Receive office deliveries for Johannesburg Office(s).
  • Arranging for parcel querier and receiving parcels.
  • Conduct full reception administrative activities for the Johannesburg Office(s).
  • Support the Warehouse, Finance and Contact Centre Departments with administrative requirements.
  • Boardroom bookings for meetings.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and well spoken.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Edward Snell & Co. operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and multitask.
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
  • National Diploma or relevant qualification in administrative field is advantageous.
  • 1 - 2 years proven experience in reception and administration.
