Job Description

A leading multinational within the components and mobility solutions sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimise the end-to-end procurement function across Southern Africa.

You will take ownership of local and international sourcing, imports and exports, supplier performance, inventory optimisation, inbound freight management, procurement compliance, and demand alignment to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply across the region.

Minimum Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 5 years' supply chain experience within a technical, industrial, manufacturing, or engineered products environment
  • 3-4 years' management and supplier management experience
  • Strong procurement, inventory optimisation, import/export, and freight management experience
  • Sound understanding of MRP, demand planning, and inventory control
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities aligned to demand forecasts and inventory targets
  • Optimise stock availability and working capital performance
  • Manage imports, exports, inbound freight, and supplier performance
  • Ensure procurement governance and regulatory compliance
  • Lead and develop procurement and logistics teams
