Main Responsibilities
  • Drive Agile Supply Chain
  • Actively support improvement of operational processes (incl. projects automatization/digitalization)
  • Direct contact person for logistical topics
  • Coordinate with in house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers
  • Pro actively ensure (monitor) transport of daily deliveries
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Evaluate and report on KPIs
  • Contact person for forwarder/3PL regarding transport status, delivery confirmations and delays
  • Create freight orders to selected forwarders/carriers
Education / Experience
  • Commercial/Business education, higher education degree, business administration or similar
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in logistics or Supply Chain
  • Excellent handling of and affinity with ERP systems, especially SAP is a must
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel

Languages
  • Fluent English and Afrikaans
  • Any other language skills are an advantage
