To transport and escort patients, equipment, files and related items between different departments of a hospital to support hospital operations in delivering the highest standards of care

• Transport and escort patients safely to a pre-determined location
• Assist with evacuations during emergency situations
• Execute Driver function (as per hospital request and within hospital guidelines)
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of patient rights and Mediclinic values

DESIRED EDUCATION: Relevant short courses and certificates

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Client services / Dealing with the public

• Licence with PDP
• Patient rights charter
• English proficiency (read; speak and write)
• Kinetic handling principles
• Knowledge of Medico,legal risks
• Knowledge of administrative tasks
• Health and Safety Act and regulations
