To transport and escort patients, equipment, files and related items between different departments of a hospital to support hospital operations in delivering the highest standards of care.

Transport and escort patients safely to a pre-determined location.

Assist with evacuations during emergency situations.

Execute Driver function (as per hospital request and within hospital guidelines).

Ensure integrity and confidentiality of patient rights and Mediclinic values.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 or equivalent

DESIRED EDUCATION: None

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Client services / Dealing with the public

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Healthcare experience (e.g. care work)

• Licence with PDP
• Patient rights charter
• English proficiency (read; speak and write)
• Kinetic handling principles
• Knowledge of Medico, legal risks
• Knowledge of administrative tasks
• Health and Safety Act and regulations
