Job Description

- Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese (essential due to the nature of our client base)
- Relevant degree or diploma qualifying the applicant to perform paralegal functions
- Computer literate with strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Professional communication skills
- Self-starter able to function with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's licence
- Own reliable transport
- Prior legal or paralegal experience will be advantageous; however, all applications will be considered on merit
- Drafting legal correspondence and documentation
- Liaising with clients, counsel, correspondents, and third parties
- File and matter administration
- Assisting attorneys with litigation and general legal support, including administration of deceased estates
- Performing general legal office duties as required
- Cross-border and international matters
- Immigration processes
- Legalisation, apostilles, and document authentication
- Administration of deceased estates
- Prior experience working with CaseLines and Court Online platforms will be advantageous
