  • Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese (essential due to the nature of our client base)
  • Relevant degree or diploma qualifying the applicant to perform paralegal functions
  • Computer literate with strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Professional communication skills
  • Self-starter able to function with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own reliable transport
  • Prior legal or paralegal experience will be advantageous; however, all applications will be considered on merit
Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting legal correspondence and documentation
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, correspondents, and third parties
  • File and matter administration
  • Assisting attorneys with litigation and general legal support, including administration of deceased estates
  • Performing general legal office duties as required
Additional Exposure
  • Cross-border and international matters
  • Immigration processes
  • Legalisation, apostilles, and document authentication
  • Administration of deceased estates
  • Prior experience working with CaseLines and Court Online platforms will be advantageous
