We're expanding our remote teaching team and are looking for reliable, engaging Online English Tutors to work with students across the globe. Whether you're early in your career or already experienced, the focus here is simple: consistent delivery, strong learner engagement, and steady progress over time.

What this role involves

You'll be teaching live, online English lessons using a structured approach designed to keep sessions focused and interactive. Students come from a range of backgrounds, so part of the role is adapting your delivery style while maintaining a clear, professional classroom environment.

There's no need to build lessons from scratch; the methodology and material is already in place. Your role is to deliver it effectively, keep learners engaged, and guide them through each session with confidence.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, interactive lessons using the structured teaching framework
  • Work with learners from different cultures, levels, and learning styles
  • Maintain a professional and positive virtual classroom environment
  • Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • A completed matric certificate is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is a plus
  • A 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate
  • Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral accent
  • Confidence using Zoom and other basic tech tools
  • Strong online classroom presence and communication skills
Equipment & Infrastructure:
  • Laptop/PC with Quad Core i5/Ryzen5/Apple M1 processor or higher and 8GB RAM
  • Stable fibre internet with 25 Mbps download/upload minimum (LAN cable connection only)
  • Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) that provides 4-5 hours of backup power
  • Separate mini-UPS to keep your fibre router powered during outages
  • Noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam, and a quiet, professional workspace
