Job Description

Position: Onboarding Specialist

Location: Remote (South Africa, US Hours)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for new employees to facilitate smooth integration.
  • Create, update, and maintain onboarding materials such as guides, tutorials, and checklists.
  • Collaborate with various departments to tailor onboarding content to specific roles.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and training to familiarize new hires with company culture, policies, and systems.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and provide feedback to management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their initial employment period to address questions and concerns.
  • Continuously seek to improve onboarding procedures based on feedback and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in onboarding, training, or human resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with onboarding software and digital communication tools.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Problem solving mindset with a passion for enhancing employee experiences.
