Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Answering of telephone
- Directing calls, take messages
- Basic enquiries
- Opening the front door for customers / suppliers / staff
- Managing walk-in customers / suppliers / couriers
- Collections
- Enquiries
- Booking and tracking couriers
- Admin tasks
- Filing of orders / spec sheets / artwork / embroidery
- Generate and print labels for fabric rolls
- Print labels for dispatch
- Updating spreadsheets for production, staff, customers, etc.
- Send emails or scan documents for the office staff
- Manage the customer fit ranges
- Book out collections
- Inspect items on return
- Follow up on any shortages or return deadlines
- Book any repairs or cleaning
- Ensure items are marked and replace tags if necessary
- Pack away items
- Inform management if we require new or additional fit ranges
- Remove any discontinued ranges
- Sales support
- Assist in dispatch during busy periods to book out stock
- Label packages for customer collection
- Correspond with customers that orders are ready for collection
- Follow up on supplier quotes and send proof of payments
- Update the fabric sample files
- Assist with preparation for branding e.g. weeding of vinyl, cutting of DTF prints, etc.
- Proactive, confident individual willing to support across the business
- Suited to a small-medium environment where teamwork and flexibility are key
- Entry-level opportunity within clothing manufacturing
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Basic typing skills for letters and spreadsheet updates
- Strong communication skills (telephonic and interpersonal)
- First point of contact for customers and suppliers
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (additional SA language advantageous)
- Minimum: Matric + 2 years' work experience OR post-matric qualification
- Well-organised, able to follow processes and suggest improvements
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
