Maintenance Fitter - Uptime Champion for Manufacturing

A leading manufacturing company seeks a skilled Maintenance Fitter to perform mechanical inspections, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs across critical production equipment. This role is vital in reducing unplanned downtime, ensuring operational reliability, and maintaining production flow.

• Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
• Recognised Trade Test: Fitter or Fitter & Turner (NQF 5)

• Minimum 1-3 years of mechanical maintenance in a high-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis capability
• Basic MS Office & ERP systems literacy
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance methodologies, safety practices, and SOPs
• Adherence to health, safety, quality, and cost-efficiency practices is critical

• Hands on, proactive approach to maintenance
• Ability to train apprentices and compile maintenance documentation
